Rodrigo holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2020–2026). His final dissertation examined the legal and practical implications of third-party funding in international arbitration. He will start the Master’s Degree for Access to the Spanish Legal Profession at Universidad Carlos III and the Diploma of Expertise in Corporate Governance and M&A at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in September 2026. During his studies, Rodrigo was actively involved in several moot court competitions. He was part of the team receiving an Honourable Mention for the Eric E. Bergsten Award at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (2025–2026), won the Moot Madrid Competition in Commercial Law and Arbitration (2024–2025), and received the Best Memorandum Award at the ELSA Spain Moot Court Competition (2025). He previously completed an academic exchange at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he studied Business Administration and was awarded Dean’s Honors (2022–2023). Rodrigo gained practical experience through internships at leading Spanish law firms, including Uría Menéndez and Pérez-Llorca (2025), where he assisted in litigation, corporate, M&A and real estate matters, with a focus on legal research, drafting, and transactional support.
